Harpo

What happens when a company decides to enhance their Braille writing learning device for kids? 

After consulting the Harpo company employees, parents and children, we asked kids about how to design the device for them to love it and use it with pleasure. We subsequently made concept sketches, final projects and prototypes to be tested. The product is launched with a new, more affordable price in Autumn 2017.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen was inspired by the opinions of its employees who, having used the Caddy cars, had a number of ideas for improvement. 

The company wanted to design the interior of the car taking the precious experience of employees into consideration. We used the creative potential of the employees to find solutions! In addition, we invited the children of employees for a co-creation session, and the kids made exquisite observations. We ended up with projects which really did increase the comfort of use!

ALVO

We studied the functional context of the surgical washroom and we created a new project for the ALVO company. 

We observed that there were several user groups whose needs had to be taken into account. In addition, it turned out that not only functionality, but also aesthetics and appearance constituted important factors. The modern surgical washroom has to be coherent with the interior of operating theatres where the newest technologies and design are applied. The existing challenges included chaos, water splashes and discolouring following maintenance. The ALVO company received prestigious awards for its surgical washroom.

The City of Poznań

Together with the City of Poznań Town Hall, we took the challenge of working out the city development strategy which would take into account the voice of people: the inhabitants, administration, NGOs and experts in different domains and circles.

The aim of our shared project was to learn about and satisfy the inhabitants’ needs to make the city community develop sustainably. 300 inhabitants took part in our workshops. The outcome is the strategy of Poznań development, written down in the form of a simple, readable and clear document serving as the road sign showing the path to one’s own plans and actions.
