Fair, or when Concordia lives

Agata Banyś

Concordia Design is the perfect place for a boutique trade show in Wroclaw. Such events make the building come alive and present its full potential.
At the outset, a caveat. For an event manager, every event - regardless of size - is the most important. Because the most important thing is for the client who organizes it.
In this sense, it doesn't matter to me whether it's a rental of an entire building or a single room with a coffee break. After all, it is also there that key decisions can be made for someone's business or the whole city.
At the same time - looking from another perspective - there are events that allow you to present the whole range of possibilities of a given facility. Additionally, due to their nature or high attendance, they make the building alive: it pulsates with the energy of the participants.

In the case of Concordia Design Wrocław, such events are certainly boutique fairs, usually with crowds of visiting locals and tourists. Since July 2020, we have organized more than 40 of them - with different themes. Thus, our facility has hosted, among others, an alternative wedding fair, a board game fair or a Socially Responsible Fair.

One of the events quite clearly associated with our space is the Good Design Fair with the participation of great craftsmen and thousands of visitors. A real feast for fans of unique design.
TheGood Design Fair was hosted by us for the first time in July 2020, only in the Kamienica room on the first floor. Today they fill virtually the entire building, in addition to the Tenement House, also the View room on the fourth floor and the foyer. Concordia has already hosted 15 (!) editions of the event, with four more to come this year alone.
That our building is made for thematic fairs could be seen during the last (mid-April) FETA, or Festival of Beer, Wine and Cheese. Accurate statistics are hard to come by, but it may even have been the largest open event in the history of the entire Concordia. Watching the event up close, I had the impression that the doors just wouldn't close.
Exhibitors presented themselves in the View room and in the foyer, but guests spending time with us also crowded the terrace. In the warm months, this is a unique place not only in Wroclaw, but also in the whole of Poland.

In conclusion, I would like to directly answer the question: why is Concordia Design Wrocław a great place for a boutique fair?

First, because of the location. Our building is located in the heart of Wroclaw, visitors can easily reach it by public transportation and combine their visit with a walk on Słodowa Island or Ostrów Tumski.
Secondly, nowhere will you experience such views as in our View room. Exhibitors sometimes laugh that they are only dissuaded from looking at the beautiful panorama by the high attendance at the event.
Third, we have great infrastructure and technical facilities, which is a big relief for organizers.
Fourth, and finally, we provide a quality catering outlet for all guests. Our Concordia Taste restaurant will prepare a menu in any space according to the organizer's requirements - coffee, desserts, breakfasts or hot dishes.

So we are ready for more great events.
