Cultural events

Poznan occupies an important place on the cultural map of the country, for years attracting tourists with numerous events and attractions. A great alternative to organizing an event in a hall is to use an outdoor space. One such unique space in the city center is certainly the Przystań Sztuki - a place dedicated to cultural events in the open air.

Cultural events in Poznan - Przystań Sztuki

The Art Haven is a unique, open-air venue dedicated to the arts. Since June 2017, it has hosted public film screenings, sculpture exhibitions, jazz concerts, art workshops and vernissages. Thanks to its attractive location in the heart of the city - between the Concordia Design building and the Bałtyk office building, hundreds of people can enjoy artworks, performances and unusual exhibitions.

Poznan - cultural events in the heart of Greater Poland

The space also has a function of integrating the local community - it is located on the border of the Jeżyce district, and has hosted events related to the "ChceJeżyce" event - local fashion shows, concerts and exhibitions. The Art Haven also features beautiful photo exhibitions from the "Przystań w Kadrze" series, which present the work of photographers from Poznan and other Polish cities. So far we have shown here, among others, photos by Wojciech Plewinski - legendary photographer of "Przekroj" magazine, Janusz Gajos - a well-known actor, but also a photographer, Jędrzej Frank - an architectural photographer from Poznan, creator of the Instagramers profile, Adam Kozioł - a Poznanian who documents the lives of vanishing tribes around the world, Jacek Poremba, Iness Rychlik, Stanisław Kroszczyński, and author's posters by Katarzyna Kozyra.
