About Growth Mindset at the organizational culture level in HR Business Partner

Concordia Design

The latest issue of HR Business Partner magazine features an article by Concordia Design expert Marta Megger, in which she discusses the Growth Mindset in organizational culture.

In the article, the author diagnoses mindset at the organizational level and focuses on growth culture. She points out that organizational culture influences the mindset and actions of male and female employees, but there is also a feedback here - it is also the organizational culture that makes up the dominant mindset, or way of thinking.

Marta Megger lists two types of mindsets:

- Fixed Mindset - the belief that abilities and intelligence are immutable.

- Growth Mindset - the belief that skills can be developed through effort and learning.

Organizations with a Culture of Growth focus on growth, learning and collaboration. Male and female employees are more willing to share knowledge, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. In contrast, organizations with a culture of genius (Culture of Genius) focus on individual achievement and competition.

The article also includes:

- Definition of mindset and organizational culture.

- A description of cultures of growth and genius.

- Analysis of mindset triggers.- Tips on how to develop Growth Mindset in the organization.

We hope the article will be an interesting addition to your knowledge.
