Black Frame is a new project initiated by Concordia Design and the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. The Academy of Fine Arts will present the work of artists affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, graduates, students and employees, in display cases on Słodowa Island in Wroclaw. 24 exhibitions are planned. The first exhibit is Karla Gron's highly expressive work "Weather and Melancholy".
"The pursuit and melancholy is the sine wave of life's momentum. A double helix between which the pluses and minuses of our experiences accumulate. What is successful, brought to completion, is intertwined with a sense of doubt, identity crisis, sometimes disappointment and sadness. They are silent companions of the day and night, watching the course of events from a distance, only to step onto the stage of life in a moment, tap their heels and retreat, to meet again. One does not exist without the other."
