A few words about games and fun in business education.

Have you ever wondered what promotes effective learning? What makes it easier for you to believe in certain changes, or understand certain business decisions?

I definitely like to experience, to feel a non-obvious inspiration that makes me look at a given challenge from a different perspective and a little wider than before. I also like to be surprised and fed with new contexts. At the same time, I want to have a choice and perform certain tasks as part of a team, but also have space for my own reflection.

All these needs of mine are met by gamification in business. That's why I like to participate in the development of our proprietary product, which is a creative integration game. This is because I believe that combining education with fun #EDU_fun is effective.

Why?

  1. 1. increase engagement:
  2. Fun and gamification elements increase participants' involvement in the learning process. Successful educational projects based on fun attract attention and motivate adults to actively participate in learning. Therefore, gamification in business is a good idea for team integration.
  1. 2. GREAT_ ERROR - that is, learn, get confused, make mistakes.
  2. Games allow participants to experiment and make decisions without risking real consequences, which promotes learning from mistakes and improving skills.
  1. 3. TESTING SOLUTIONS
  2. Training games allow participants to put their knowledge and skills into practice in a controlled environment, which helps them better absorb the material.
  1. 4. SOFT COMPETENCIES? OR MAYBE JUST HUMAN?
  2. The integration game for adults stimulates social interaction, cooperation and communication between participants, which contributes to the effectiveness of the learning process.
  1. 5. WHAT ABOUT THE BRAIN? Neuropsychological research shows that interactive and engaging tasks (such as those in games) lead to increased activation of areas responsible for remembering and processing information.

That's why a creative team-building game is not only a great attraction for a corporate event, but also a fun game with tangible results - learning new skills, getting to know team members and members from a different side, the need for cooperation and healthy competition under controlled conditions.
