Change management - the new competence of HR departments

The year 2025 is marked by change. The dynamics with which AI functionalities are developing, but also changes in the mentality of male and female employees, their commitment and approach to work, and even climate change - all this will have a significant impact on organizations. The companies that will cope will be those that properly plan their future activities, and the challenge for HR departments will be precisely the skillful management of change.
Agility and attentiveness
The ability to manage change, guide people through it, and strategic management - these competencies will be paramount for HR departments for the coming time. The concept of strategic management also includes the ability to observe and map trends, signals of change, drivers, and to select and incorporate what is necessary (for example, due to economic, legal or climate changes). It will also be important to properly select trends that are relevant to the company's strategy and culture and capabilities.
All this makes it necessary for HR departments to be attentive and nimble, keeping in mind the needs of male and female employees, but also on the signals they give us.

Trust the process
Change management is nothing more than a systematic approach to carrying out changes in an organization. Companies will have to adapt to a dynamic reality. It is important to look with flexibility and attentiveness not only at the market, but also at the needs and reactions of male and female employees. Change is inevitable, and in order to successfully guide organizations through the process, HR departments should prepare accordingly. Now is the right time to create a plan to carry out the changes, to support male and female employees, as well as entire teams.
What should I pay attention to when preparing for the trial?
- COMMUNICATION - be open to communication, regularly update employees and staff on progress, and above all, explain the reasons and benefits of the changes taking place.
- PREPARATION - provide people on the job with training and resources that will allow teams to adequately prepare and adapt to change.
- SUPPORT - build support for male and female employees throughout the change process, this will be helped by what has already been mentioned above - communication and preparation; if you have the opportunity make mentoring or coaching available.
- INVOLVEMENT - involve teams in the change process, gather feedback from individual employees, taking into account their input into the process, this will make them feel part of the whole endeavor and make it easier to identify with the new reality.
As in any process, it is critical to monitor and evaluate the effects during the implementation of changes. This will allow HR departments to respond appropriately and flexibly, making the necessary adjustments on an ongoing basis.

Support for HR departments
The change management process has several stages. It is good to prepare properly and systematically implement the goals that have been set. Change can also be a difficult time in an organization, but on the other hand it is a good time to learn new skills and replenish competencies.
In the context of planning and change management, it is important to work with trends to help find answers to questions:
- How do we understand the needs of male and female employees, as well as customers, given the coming changes?
- How to adequately prepare for changes in business and increase resilience to uncertainty?
- How to plan for the future in the face of changing realities?

In order to make changes in the organization in an effective and smooth way, it is worthwhile to use creative workshops that will allow teams to learn about the new strategy in the organizational culture, but also:
- evoke a sense of empowerment and belonging among male and female employees, who together work out one of the challenges from the scope of the changes being implemented,
- feel safer for the entire teams, who, by working together, will integrate and learn the entire change process from the ground up,
- Increase the involvement of teams, which during joint workshops can develop completely new and interesting solutions and identify new directions for development.
