We would like to invite you to the exhibition "Hammershøia Copenhagen", inspired by the works of the brilliant Danish painter of the 19th century Vilhelm Hammershøia. The exhibition features the works of photographer Justyna Smidowicz-Cegola, who enters into a dialogue with the works of the painter of silence, seeking answers to the questions: can the extraordinary sensitivity of the 19th century painter inspire the search for the subtle face of Copenhagen in 2021? Is the lightness of the air saturated with light and the architecture immersed in it still possible to capture? Through the sensibility of a contemporary artist, can it be described in a language that is universal to city dwellers in the present day? Is there room for silence in the urban rush of the 21st century?
