About office space design.
My conversation with Maciej Bidermann.
What affects our efficiency at the office? Why don't we have energy for life after work? Stress? A large number of meetings? Or too much coffee drinking, which we blame for our bad mood? But it turns out that managing our energy during the workday is also influenced by the office and the space in which we spend our time.
Already in our RE_work report we researched and addressed the topic related to the interiors in which we work. How can they affect our relationships at work, but also our relationships with work? How to design these spaces appropriately?
In response to questions, a recording was created with Maciej Bidermann - Head of Interior Design and Partner at Bidermann+Wide design studio.
What will you learn about in the first part of our interview?
- How important is the relationship between natural and artificial light in office spaces?
- How to "smartly" stimulate employees with light?
- Is open space actually a good solution?
- Is it possible to design a work space without thinking about what's outside the window?
- Is it possible to design ecologically and at the same time put human well-being as the most important value?
- Silence as a benefit, or how to fight noise in offices?
- How can procedures, work methodologies and team contracts support better space management?
In the second part, among other things, we will dispel myths that creative spaces are not just swings and colorful poufs. You will learn whether such interiors are needed in offices and what their importance is. We invite you to listen to the whole conversation!
