Small Instruments - workshops for children on building unusual musical instruments

Category:

The workshop conducted as part of "Self-Made" is dedicated to building unusual musical instruments with your own hands. During the 2-hour workshop we create from scratch several simple instruments, the construction of which is within the reach of an amateur working with an instructor. The aim of this activity is to draw the attention of participants to the possibility of using inexpensive technical solutions, thanks to which it is possible to produce acoustic sound from a real source.

Each workshop participant can try to build a playing object using the technique and experience of the workshop leaders.

During the work, we will learn the basic principles of musical instruments in a practical way. An important feature of the proposed work is the low price and widespread availability of materials that we will use to make the playing objects.

Due to the use of sharp tools, we invite people over 10 years of age, and younger ones only with an actively working guardian. We provide all the tools and materials necessary for the work. We try to work with recycled materials, but also supplement them with necessary purchases. Built instruments, of course, participants take with them.

The workshop is free but registration through the registration form is mandatory - places are limited!
