"The Last Turn. Postcards from holidays in communist Poland" is an album collecting photographs by Marcin Wojdak. The author documents the most architecturally interesting holiday resorts of a bygone era. Some still receive guests, others are deteriorating - but each of them conveys a completely different and unique story.

During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to purchase the album "Last Turn" through Bookowski Bookstore.
Admiring photos from the publication "Last Turn" on a large format, will be possible until September 1 at the Art Haven.
Where did the idea for such a peculiar subject to photograph come from? It's mostly about nostalgia from his youth, which accompanies Marcin Wojdak. The author also sees something more in the now deteriorating buildings from the 1960s and 1970s. Modernist resorts are just a pretext to show the new post-war world, to propagate the idea of happiness and the desire to create a new citizenry.
The event is financed by the budget of the City of Poznań.
